Because I was tired of being in the corporate rat race. I would call my BFF and tell her "I am so tired of being someone's bitch!" I wanted to make a difference on my terms and without all the red tape and constraints of someone else's rules. During my last year in corporate, I read a quote that said something like this - If you aren't building your own dream, you are helping someone else get theirs. I wanted to build my own dream and do it by helping others build theirs.
